1. Corrugated beam installation

The column installation should be consistent with the design, and the corrugated guardrail should be consistent with the highway alignment. It should not only be beautiful, but also increase the overall strength of the corrugated guardrail.

When installing the column, the direction and elevation of the column should be controlled, and its position should be adjusted. Only after passing the inspection can the flange foot guardrail plate bolts be tightened. The corrugated beams are spliced to each other through splicing guardrail plate bolts, and are fixed to the columns or beams by connecting guardrail plate bolts.

2. Setting out the position of the column

High-speed corrugated guardrail traffic facilities can reduce the severity of accidents, eliminate various vertical and horizontal interferences, and improve road service levels. After setting out, it should be confirmed that the construction of the columns will not cause damage to the underground transportation facilities, otherwise the position of the columns should be adjusted.

Corrugated beams need to be continuously adjusted during the installation process. Therefore, their connecting guardrail board bolts and spliced guardrail board bolts should not be tightened prematurely. Distances should be measured between control points. Otherwise, the adjustment effect of the oblong hole cannot be exerted.

3. Column installation

When setting out the position of pillars, fixed traffic facilities on the road, such as bridges, passages, culverts, tunnels, central divider openings, emergency telephone door openings, route intersections, etc., should be used as the main control points (i.e., control the position of the pillars).

The overlapping direction of the corrugated beam is the hub of installation, and the overlapping direction should be consistent with the driving direction. If the overlapping direction is opposite to the driving direction, even a slight collision will cause greater losses. If there are odd numbers, they can be adjusted through the appropriate adjustment section.
